If you’re a blogger, podcaster, or videomaker, you know how much freedom you experience- I’m sure after Thanksgiving you’ve had a chance to be grateful for everything you have… which includes the power to make a difference online in social media for change.
December 10th, next Wednesday, is the big day.
Hundreds of bloggers, podcasters, and video producers will create and post something about Human Rights day on December 10th.

In celebration of its Anniversary, “One Day for Human Rights” is an awareness campaign aimed to promote and support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
And yeah, I will be one of those people blogging and videoing on dec 10th for human rights!
I just read the book “The Road of Lost Innocence” by Somaly Mam and will be blogging on December 10 about human rights. It is my hope that other bloggers will join in, choose a cause they’re passionate about, and blog/vlog/podcast about it.

An excellent cause and one I’m committed to supporting. Thanks @remarkablogger for bringing this to my attention. As an American it’s sometimes easy to forget that others in this world do not experience the same freedoms that we do.

Its so important to remember that justice, liberty and freedoms must constantly be fought for. They are not automatic. Like weeds in a garden, injustice will grow on its own if not attended to.
I’m thankful of the progress our species has made but so much has to be done and so much isn’t!
