GET INVOLVED

There are 4 main ways of getting involved in promoting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

1. Sign the Petition to get the UDHR printed in your passports
2. Write a blog post, record a podcast or videocast about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10th, with a backlink to our website. It can be on any human rights subject, the idea behind this document, or any of the 30 articles in the Declaration.
3. Spread the word! tell 10 people about us, using Twitter, e-mails, text messages, phone calls, and get them in the One Day for Human Rights loop and sign the petition to include the UDHR in your passports
4. Write a letter to your Congressman / Governor / Government Officials, asking them to print the UDHR in your passport.

Other Things You Can Do

Support Human Rights through your Art

Let your creativity support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights! We have teamed up with We Design Change to support your creativity and give you a place to connect with other creatives that support humanitarian causes.

You can also display your “Art for Human Rights” in our Flickr Group, to have it show on the home page of One Day for Human Rights.

If you have any other ideas / suggestions, please tell us about them, and we’ll support your actions! :)

Support Jack Healey and the Human Rights Action Center

By getting your organization involved, you can help promote the cause of Human Rights! We have the means to do this, but also need the resources for it. However, donations are not the main goal of the One Day for Human Rights campaign. If you need to donate to the cause, please head over to the Human Rights Action Center for details on how you can help financially.
