December 10 – Show YOUR Support for Human Rights
December 10 is here! The 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights!

This site was done in order to create awareness on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and of its Anniversary, by trying to get as many of you to blog/pod/video blog about it, showing YOUR opinion on human rights issues all over the world!
This blog post is meant to promote all of you out there who signed our Petition to print the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in passports, who support this document, and make everyone you know aware of this documents’ existence. Therefore, I am asking you to trackback to this post, or write a comment on it, with links to your actions!
I encourage people that live in less developed countries to write about the human rights issues in their own countries – it is a great way to open the eyes of the world on how people are being abused in places that not everybody is aware of the fact that such abuses exist.
Thank you all! Can’t wait to see what your opinions are on Human Rights!
Love,
Anca

Thank you all for your effort and support! This is AWESOME! :)
Rajesh’s post is here: http://bit.ly/iE1I
@Swizec – if i don’t agree with you doesn’t mean i don’t like it. I always like an argument! :) And I do appreciate you taking the time and writing your own opinion about human rights – or lack there of, according to your beliefs. This is what i intended with this project – to hear your opinions! I never said “post only if you agree with human rights”, did i? So Thank you! :)
Thank you all again for signing and supporting! You guys rock!

I’ve signed the petition, and written a blog post. I so nearly missed today, and am saddened that that’s because I have it relatively good, and don’t think enough about those who have it less so. For me, today will be the beginning of a change, thank you.

My post is largely in response to @Swizec. Thanks for creating great conversation on Human Rights Day! And I appreciate a good argument, so feel free to leave some comments Swizec.

I can’t believe that 60 years after the signing, we’re still having to support events like this. Shameful and disappointing that it’s up to the normal person to do what our government’s should be.
